Rendering the movie in this camera angle. Should have results by monday. Resolution 1200 x 1024

Better camera angle. Creating a whole dataset viz in this camera position
A visualization for scec data -- View Simulation
Working on rotating the camera - to get top view of simulation on the top of the cube

Trying to run batch job on tera to create a rendering from 11n1 (xy-z) angleUnable to fire jobs on tera using pbs stuff! Running the job on a single node currently. Should be able to see something by end of today or tomorrow morning.

Default camera run (persp option) Following are images using camera file created by meshviewer for redcube data instead of scec data ( toobig for mesh viewer) The objective was to view volume from all sides ( all 8 isometric/persp views) enabling the viewer to see three sides at the same time
![]() 111 = xyz |
![]() 11n1 = xy-z |
![]() 1n11 = x-yz |
![]() 1n1n1 = x-y-z |
![]() n111 = -xyz |
![]() n11n1 = -xy-z |
![]() n1n11 = -x-yz |
![]() n1n1n1 = -x-y-z |
Problems!
- Although the cameras created this was do a decent job. But its difficult to correlate cameras with actual volume.
- Notice the volume is not fully centered and all cameras are not preciely in same orientation.
- Find out the camera correlation for Vista <--> Mesh Viewer
Goods!
- This will still enable us in general to give good idea of volumes from all sides.
- We can create an option in vista which will create a viz from all 8 sides (3-d) and all 6 sides (2-d) and spit images to users. Afterwards more relevant runs can be made.
- We can create fly through in/around the data by specifying camera paths alternative to use spins already implemented.
